Join us on the 3rd Thursdays of June, July & August from 6:30-8:30pm in crew252 for a series of seminars on Mental Health.

Co-organized by Local Outreach and Justice & Mercy, our hope is that these seminars will help us extend Christlike care to both ourselves and others in our lives who are navigating mental health challenges.

Come for one, two or all 3! RSVP to Elyse, noting if you need Spanish translation and/or childcare.

Por favor confirma tu asistencia con la Pastora Elyse (elysea@lifespringchurch.org), in dicando si necesitas traducción al español.

July 17th   Grief Literacy

with Sarah Saltee, Executive Director of 3Hopeful Hearts

What do you say when there's nothing you can say? Grief touches every life, but many of us feel unsure about how to support someone who is going through something hard. This engaging session will provide practical tools to better understand grief, offer meaningful support, and recognize signs of compassion fatigue in yourself and others. Whether you're supporting a family member, friend, community member, or colleague, this training will help you show up with confidence, empathy, and care.

August 21st  What is Trauma & Why Should the Church Care?

with Project 1.27

The term “trauma” has been widely used, especially in the wake of the global pandemic. But what does it mean? And what kind of effect can it have on a child’s brain and behavior? This session will help you understand what children might be going through

and give you 16 strategies to support and connect with them in a way their brains and bodies can receive it.
